Giants Had a Busy Day

New York Giants general manager Jerry Reese was a busy man on Tuesday.

First, right guard Chris Snee agreed to a six-year contract extension, and then Reese locked up three more draft picks to contracts.

Snee, whose father-in-law is head coach Tom Coughlin, is now under contract through 2014. Terms of his contracts are unknown at this time, but it should be interesting to see what sort of reaction Plaxico Burress and Osi Umenyiora will have to news that the coach's son-in-law received a contract extension before they did.

The rookies agreeing to contracts today include fourth-round linebacker Bryan Kehl (BYU), fifth-round linebacker Jonathan Goff (Vanderbilt) and sixth-round quarterback Andre Woodson (Kentucky). Sixth-round defensive end Robert Henderson had previously agreed on a contract, leaving the Giants with just three unsigned draft picks (Kenny Phillips, Terrell Thomas and Mario Manningham).
