Carolina Trades Up and Gets Otah

The Carolina Panthers have traded up with the Philadelphia Eagles and used the 19th pick on Pittsburgh tackle Jeff Otah.

Otah is a 6-6, 322-pound monster, and along with fellow 1st round pick Jonathan Stewart, will give the Panthers a power running game.

The selection of Otah also allows the Panthers to keep Jordan Gross at his more natural right tackle position, which he plays at a Pro Bowl level. Travelle Wharton can also remain at left guard.

Thus far, the Panthers are having themselves a tremendous draft.
