Super Bowl 50 to Attract a Flurry of Bitcoin Wagers

superbowlArguably one of the most highly anticipated events in the history of sports, Super Bowl 50 will provide a perfect finish to the 2015 NFL season, and no doubts that all eyes will be on San Francisco Bay Arena on February 7.

Free-scoring Carolina Panthers have earned a second chance to fight for the coveted trophy, having previously lost to New England Patriots 32-29 in what was dubbed “Greatest Super Bowl of all time” back in 2004.

And having largely impressed to record a 49-15 triumph over Arizona Cardinals in the National Football Conference final, many believe the Panthers have a good chance of emerging victorious on February 7.

Meanwhile, two-time Super Bowl winners Denver Broncos head into the high-profile clash at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara hoping to end an 18-year wait for the championship title and at the same time make amends for the disappointing 43-8 loss to Seattle Seahawks in the 2013 final.

NFL veteran Peyton Manning will have a chance to become the oldest quarterback to win the Super Bowl in the NFL history as well as lift the second Super Bowl trophy and equal his brother’s record.

Super Bowl 50 Betting Prospects

Taking all this into account, it is hardly surprising that many expect the Super Bowl 50 to be one of the most heavily bet sporting events in the 21st century, with over $4 billion expected to be wagered on the championship game in United States alone.

And this is not even including the bets that will be made using bitcoin, a crypto currency that has become incredibly popular of late. With a plethora of bitcoin gambling websites offering odds on money line, points spread, total points and many other Super Bowl 50 markets, a flurry of bitcoin bets will be placed on the Carolina Panthers vs Denver Broncos game.

From high rollers to amateur sports betting enthusiasts that will be looking to make watching the Super Bowl even more interesting by placing a flutter or two, bitcoin wagers on the showpiece event will be flying in the coming days, with Carolina Panthers odds-on favourites at the moment.

Why Bet With Bitcoin?

It’s not a secret that Americans have a hard time finding decent online betting sites. Most of them are either offering horrible odds or can’t be counted on to payout in a reasonable time frame. Lets not forget about those that charge 10 to 15% of your winnings as a withdrawal fee. Simply ridiculous.

When you bet bitcoin everything is different. Withdrawals are almost instant and there’s even no need to enter your personal details when signing up, apart from e-mail and date of birth. In fact most of the sites are processing withdrawals within 24 hours and players from the US are more than welcome to join & bet.
