Seahawks Add Ten Undrafted Free Agents

The Seattle Seahawks announced that they had agreed to terms with 10 undrafted free agents on Saturday night, including University of Washington wide receiver Jermaine Kearse.

Kearse caught 180 passes for 2,871 yards and 29 touchdowns during his 50-game career with the Huskies. His top season came in 2010 when he hauled in 63 passes for 1,005 yards and 12 touchdowns. The 6-foot-1, 209-pound Kearse ran a 4.57 time in the 40-yard dash and posted a 34" vertical leap with a 9'11" broad jump at the Combine.

The other nine undrafted free agents that agreed to terms on Saturday night were:

Jon Opperud, OL, Montana
Deshawn Shead, DB, Portland State
Monte Taylor, DE, Cincinnati
Lavasier Tuinei, WR, Oregon
Carson Wiggs, K, Purdue

Along with Kearse, Johnson and Wiggs competed at the 2012 Scouting Combine.
