Robert Griffin III Visits The Redskins

Baylor University quarterback Robert Griffin III is visiting the Washington Redskins at their headquarters on Tuesday, Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports.

Florio adds that Griffin is not working out for the team, which shouldn't come as a surprise as private workouts can only be conducted on a players' college campus.

Griffin participated in some of the drills at the 2012 Scouting Combine and conducted a pro day workout on Baylor's campus on March 21. The 6-foot-2, 223-pound quarterback has declined to work out privately for any club, including the Indianapolis Colts, who hold the No. 1 overall pick and requested a private viewing that was declined by Griffin's agent, CAA's Ben Dogra.

Griffin passed for 10,366 yards with 78 touchdowns and ran for 2,254 yards with 33 touchdowns during his 41-game career and is expected to be selected by the Redskins with the second overall pick in the draft.
