Kedric Golston Agrees To Terms With Redskins

Free agent defensive end Kedric Golston has agreed to terms with the Washington Redskins, Chris Russell of ESPN 980 in Washington, D.C. reports.

Terms were not disclosed.

A sixth round pick out of Georgia by the Redskins in 2006, the 6-foot-4, 310-pound Golston has started 43 of 82 games over the last six seasons, totaling 168 tackles, seven sacks, two forced fumbles, seven passes defensed and recording one safety.

In 2011, Golston had 16 tackles and 1.5 sacks in nine games before landing on injured reserve with a torn MCL and partially-torn ACL in his left knee. The 28-year-old adds depth to a Redskins' defensive line that retained Adam Carriker on a multi-year deal and will get 2011 second round pick Jarvis Jenkins from a torn ACL that ended his season during last year's training camp.
