The Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent tight end Kyle Miller, reports Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star.
Undrafted out of Division III Mount Union in 2011, the 6-foot-5, 257-pound Nelson signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he caught two passes for 17 yards in four pre-season games before he was released at the end of training camp.
Miller caught 87 passes for 1,259 yards and 16 touchdowns during his career at Mount Union, where he also served as the team's long-snapper.
Colts veteran Justin Snow has handled the long-snapping duties for the Colts in 192 games over the last 12 seasons and is signed through the 2012 season. The team signed former Seattle Seahawks and UFL long-snapper Matt Overton on Monday.
