Free agent long-snapper Matt Overton announced on Twitter he has officially signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
Undrafted out of Western Washington University in 2007, Overton has had a pair of off-season stints with the Seattle Seahawks (2007, 2010) wedged between appearances in the Indoor Football League and the United Football League, where he played with the Florida Tuskers (2009) and Omaha Nighthawks (2010).
Veteran Justin Snow has handled the long-snapping duties for the Colts in 192 games over the last 12 seasons and is signed through the 2012 season.
Overton has several YouTube videos of "trick shot" snaps, but here's a lengthier, and more pertinent clip of his in-game snapping and special teams performances.
