The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to terms on a new contract with free agent outside linebacker Erin Henderson, his representatives announced on Twitter.
According to Jeremy Fowler of the Pioneer Press, Henderson received a one-year deal worth $2 million.
Signed by the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland, Henderson recorded 26 tackles, mostly on special teams, over his first three NFL seaosns before moving into a starting role in 2011. In 15 games, Henderson totaled 70 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and had a pair of passes defensed and forced fumbles.
Vikings middle linebacker E.J. Henderson remains a free agent.
