The New England Patriots have agreed to terms with free agent offensive lineman Robert Gallery, Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network reports.
Originally selected with the No. 2 overall pick of the 2004 NFL Draft out of Iowa, Gallery has started 103 of his 104 games in the National Football League, including all 12 games he played for the Seattle Seahawks in 2011.
Signed to a three-year, $15 million contract after last year's lockout, Gallery battled groin injuries throughout his one season in Seattle, missing four of the first five games of the season. Gallery would return and play in all of the Seahawks' offensive snaps in nine of the last 11 games of the season.
Seattle released Gallery late last week.
In New England, Gallery adds veteran depth behind starters and Pro Bowl guards Logan Mankins and Brian Waters.
