The Atlanta Falcons signed free agent offensive lineman Vince Manuwai on Friday night, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Terms were not disclosed.
Manuwai, 31, was a 2003 third-round pick out of Hawaii by the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 6-foot-2, 333-pound guard started 105 of 111 games over eight seasons with the Jaguars. Manuwai missed most of the 2008 season after tearing two ligaments in his knee and the veteran was released after last year's lockout after suffering an ankle injury during the lockout.
Manuwai worked out for the Tennessee Titans last October 25, but was not signed and spent the 2011 season out of football.
First-year Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter coached Manuwai for four seasons with the Jaguars.
