The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they have re-signed free agent offensive tackle King Dunlap to a one-year contract.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
A 2008 seventh round pick out of Auburn, the 6-foot-9, 330-pound Dunlap spent his rookie season on injured reserve and has started seven of 38 games over the last three seasons, including a career-high five games in 2010.
Dunlap has the ability to play either left or right tackle and, with the trade of Winston Justice to the Indianapolis Colts, will likely be the top backup behind starters Jason Peters and Todd Herremans.
