Chiefs Move Steve Maneri To Tight End

The Kansas City Chiefs announced that offensive tackle Steve Maneri has been moved from offensive tackle to tight end.

Maneri will wear No. 87.

Originally signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Temple in 2010, the 6-foot-6, 290-pound Maneri spent most of his rookie season on the New England Patriots' practice squad. The Chiefs claimed Maneri off waivers in Week 1 of the 2011 season started one of six games, catching one pass for one yard.

In 47 games at Temple, Maneri caught 38 passes for 421 yards and nine touchdowns.
