The St. Louis Rams have 51 players under contract for 2012. Not under contract, at least not at the time of this posting, is a general manager. Whoever fills that post will work with head coach Jeff Fisher to decide on placing exclusive rights or restricted free agent tenders on eight players.
The Rams also have 21 unrestricted free agents, which is tied with the New York Giants for the most in the league.
