Alex Smith good luck in your future position with another team. I think people can finally stop wonder if you are capable of winning a big game when clearly you are not. 12-26 for 158 yards in the NFC championship? Have a nice life.
Previous poster is a chump. Come on back, Alex, you have shown you have what it takes to win a big game. Outdueled Brees and had a better game than Eli without any receivers. Would have had a chance at a superbowl, too, had it not been for a few turnovers that weren't your fault.
Since our proven good h.c. Jim Harbough trusts Alex, I trust him too. With one or two top class receivers and maybe the addition of a pro bowl offensive lineman we will go to super bowl again. Anyway, what is the alternative? Peyton? Is anybody sure that with a titanium plate screwed in his neck will be the same? and for how long, he is 36, and on top of all we will have lost Alex. So my fellow 49er fans be patient, even Bill Walsh didn't bring it home the first year. I think 2012 will be our season!
Seriously, patience? still? lol
I mean come on Alex had a great year for Alex and for what we are all about he fits I mean all things considered we weren't even suppose to win 8 game to clinch the West how early we did to clame the 2nd seed 9 pro bowlers ap coach of the year I mean we had a great season this is our decade we just need some help on the outside on offense and defense Alex your our golden ticket
Always with the Alex hate someone somewhere. He needs to be resigned and Kap will compete against him. Oh and that Saints win was not a fluke. Bring the team back in tact as much as possible, that includes "That Bust" Alex Smith.
Also, Smith isn't going anywhere. Not even worth discussing.
