Cardinals Re-Sign Five Assistant Coaches

The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed the five assistant coaches whose contracts expired following the 2011 season, Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com reports.

Including in that group is Russ Grimm, the team's assistant head coach/offensive line coach. The 52-year-old Hall of Fame offensive lineman has been a head coaching candidate with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills in recent years.

Joining Grimm are special teams coach Kevin Spencer, tight ends coach Freddie Kitchens, running backs coach Tommie Robinson and defensive line coach Ron Aiken. Mike Jurecki of XTRA 910 AM reported that Grimm and Kitchens received two-year contracts.
