The Buffalo Bills announced that they have reached a contract extension with starting right tackle Erik Pears.
Terms were not disclosed.
Originally signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State, the 6-foot-8, 305-pound Pears has started 44 of 59 games in a seven-year career with the Broncos (2006-08), Oakland Raiders (2009), Jacksonville Jaguars (2010) and Bills, who signed him to a two-year deal last December
Pears has started all 13 games this season and was scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in 2012.
