St. Louis Rams left tackle Rodger Saffold missed Friday's practice as he was undergoing an MRI after straining a pectoral muscle lifting weights on Friday morning, the team announced.
Saffold's status for Sunday is not yet known.
Injuries have been an issue for the Rams this season, with five cornerbacks landing on injured reserve along with wide receivers Danny Amendola, their leading receiver in 2010. After taking every snap from center during his rookie season, quarterback Sam Bradford has missed several games this season with an ankle injury and right tackle Jason Smith has missed the last three weeks with a concussion that has kept him out of this week's practices, as well.
If Smith and Saffold are both out, the Rams would start Mark LeVoir and Adam Goldberg at tackle against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
