Carolina Panthers linebacker Omar Gaither and Jason Phillips did not travel with the team and have been downgraded to "Out" for tomorrow afternoon's game against the Indianapolis Colts, the Panthers announced on Saturday.
Gaither had been listed as "Doubtful" with a knee injury, while Phillips was "Questionable" with a calf.
With season-ending injuries to Jon Beason, Thomas Davis and Thomas Williams, Gaither has started the last three games for the Panthers, totaling 22 tackles and a quarterback sack. Claimed off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens in September, Phillips has four tackles in four games for the Panthers, but has missed the last two games with his calf injury.
