Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Dan Williams will miss the remainder of the 2011 season with a broken left arm, Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic reports.
Williams was injured when he was hit by teammate Stewart Bradley during the fourth quarter of the Cardinals' 23-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Selected with the 26th overall pick of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Tennessee, Williams had 38 tackles in 15 games in a reserve role as a rookie before assuming a starting role in place of a retired Bryan Robinson in 2011. Williams had 20 tackles and a pair of passes defensed in 10 games this season.
2011 sixth-round pick David Carter is behind Williams on the depth chart.
