Seahawks Activate TE Cameron Morrah From PUP; Sign S Chris Maragos

The Seattle Seahawks announced that they have activated tight end Cameron Morrah from the physically unable to perform list.

A 2009 seventh-round pick out of Cal, Morrah caught nine passes for 117 yards in 15 games in 2010, but opened this season on the PUP list due to a toe injury. With Zach Miller ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, Morrah is expected to be active as the No. 2 tight end behind Anthony McCoy.

The Seahawks have also signed safety Chris Maragos off the practice squad. Originally signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin, Maragos had a pair of special teams tackles in three games with the 49ers last season.

Waived by the 49ers in September, Maragos joined the Seahawks' practice squad in Week 3.

To make room for Morrah and Maragos, the Seahawks have waived defensive tackle Jason Shirley and linebacker Stephen Franklin, who had joined the club earlier this week.
