The National Football League will award compensatory picks for the 2011 NFL Draft on Friday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Normally, those picks are announced during the league's spring meetings, which concluded on Tuesday.
Last year, 19 teams were awarded 32 compensatory picks, with the Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, and Atlanta Falcons receiving additional picks in the third round.
The formula for determining the picks is unknown. In the past, AdamJT13 has made very accurate predictions, which unfortunately did not happen this year. He will be providing an analysis of the picks, though.
