Mora Removes Name from Eagles, Broncos Jobs

Former Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons head coach Jim Mora has removed his name from consideration for the Philadelphia Eagles and Denver Broncos defensive coordinator positions, Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports.

Glazer adds that Mora intends to return to coaching, but wants to take another year off.

Mora, who has four school-aged children, worked as an analyst for FOX and the NFL Network during 2010, his first season off an NFL sideline since 1984.

The 49-year old's name surfaced in connection with the Eagles' job after Sean McDermott was relieved of his duties. Mora interviewed with Broncos head coach John Fox on Tuesday, but departed without a contract offer.

He must have other plans or maybe a contract offer is in the works.
