Free agent defensive tackle Hollis Thomas worked out for the Seattle Seahawks today, Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports.
Thomas' 8-game suspension for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drugs ended this week. Thomas was previously suspended for 4 games for violating the PEDs policy in 2006 while with the New Orleans Saints.
The 6-0, 335-pound 36-year old veteran defensive tackle totaled 33 tackles for the Carolina Panthers in 2009. While a free agent earlier this off-season, Thomas participated in the NFL's Broadcast Bootcamp alongside current Seahawks defensive back Jordan Babineaux.
Seattle signed third-year defensive tackle Frank Okam to a two-year contract on Tuesday.
