Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre will get the start this afternoon against the New England Patriots.
Favre (ankle) was questionable to play, but the decision to play was reportedly up to him. Considering this is likely his final season in the NFL, ending the streak was likely never a part of Favre's though process.
Tarvaris Jackson will be the #2 quarterback, and it wouldn't be a great surprise if he plays at some point on Sunday.
Minnesota: QB Joe Webb (3rd QB), RB Albert Young, WR Hank Baskett, G Chris DeGeare, DT Jimmy Kennedy, LB Erin Henderson, CB Lito Sheppard, S Tyrell Johnson
New England: RB Fred Taylor, WR Taylor Price, WR Matthew Slater, T Mark LeVoir, G Rich Ohrnberger, DL Kyle Love, S Patrick Chung, S Jarrad Page
