The St. Louis Rams have requested a 24-hour extension from the NFL to sell enough tickets to avoid having Sunday's game blacked out on local television.
Approximately 6,000 tickets remain available for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks, who the Rams have lost 10 straight games to.
Sunday will be the Rams' third home game of the season, with the first two, against the Arizona Cardinals and Washington Redskins, selling enough tickets to avoid a blackout.
As the Rams have gone 7-44 over the last 3+ seasons, blackouts in St. Louis have become more common. Nine of the last 27 Rams home games have not been broadcast locally, and the club now has until 12pm CST to avoid another one.
