Scott Wolf of the Los Angeles Daily News reports that former USC defensive coordinator Rocky Seto has joined Pete Carroll's staff with the Seattle Seahawks.
New USC head coach Lane Kiffin dismissed Seto last week to make room for his father, Monte Kiffin, who'll replace Seto as the Trojans defensive coordinator.
Seto, 33, is the seventh USC assistant coach to join Carroll in Seattle, and will serve as a defensive quality control assistant for the Seahawks. The other six Trojan assistants with the Seahawks are:
Jeremy Bates - offensive coordinator
Ken Norton, Jr. - linebackers
Kris Richard - assistant defensive backs
Brian Schneider - special teams coach
Chris Carlisle - strength and conditioning
Jamie Yancher - assistant strength and conditioning
