Pat McManamon of the Akron Beacon Journal reports that former Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Holmgren spent Monday meeting with Cleveland Browns owner Randy Lerner.
According to the report, Holmgren will spend Tuesday with the Browns, as well.
One door closed for Holmgren on Monday night, when San Francisco 49ers owner and president Jed York gave a vote of confidence to general manager Scot McCloughan and head coach Mike Singletary before the 49ers beat the defending NFC Champion Arizona Cardinals 24-9 on Monday Night Football.
Holmgren remains in the mix for one of the two vacant positions in the Seattle Seahawks' front office.
