Browns Avoid Blackout

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer reports that the Cleveland Browns have sold enough tickets for tomorrow's game against the Oakland Raiders and have avoided a local television blackout.

The Browns had received a 48-hour extension Christmas Eve, and the Browns and their television network partners combined to purchase the seats, which will be distributed amongst local civic organizations.

Cabot reports that the Browns haven't had a home game blacked out since 1995, but tickets still remain for their January 3 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
