Gary Fitzgerald of Redskins.com reports that the Washington Redskins have officially placed left tackle Chris Samuels on injured reserve.
Samuels has played with spinal stenosis, and on October 11, he injured his neck during a game against the Carolina Panthers. The six-time Pro Bowler still hasn't made a final decision regarding his future in the NFL, though he is expected to retire due to his neck condition.
No corresponding roster spot was made, leaving the team with 52 players on their active roster.
