Titans Sign 3rd Round TE Jared Cook

Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports that the Tennessee Titans have signed third round tight end Jared Cook.

Wyatt reports that the deal is for four years and has a signing bonus of "roughly $700,000".

Cook was the 89th overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft after a three-year career at the University of South Carolina. Last season, Cook made 37 catches for 573 yards and three touchdowns. For his career, he had 73 receptions, 1,107 yards and seven touchdowns.

His athleticism has already left a big impression on the Titans' coaching staff, which for Cook, includes fellow tight end Alge Crumpler, one of the most productive tight ends in the NFL throughout this decade.
