"A 49ers spokesman, Bob Lange, confirmed the furlough but, as to whether any staff members are being paid, he said, "We don't talk about financial issues with the team, but the organization is off."
The NFL's office in New York is shut down, but a league source expressed surprise that any team would take such a drastic measure with employees whose salaries are not substantial in the first place."

49ers Front Office Goes on Furlough
The entire San Francisco 49ers front office is on furlough for a little over a week, reports Tom FitzGerald of the San Francisco Chronicle.
