According to Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com, the Tennessee Titans have signed third-round cornerback Ryan Mouton to a four-year contract worth $2.4 million dollars.
UPDATE: Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports the deal includes a $665,000 signing bonus.
Mouton, the 94th overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft, only played two seasons for the University of Hawaii after transferring from Binn Junior College. After serving as a backup in 2007, Mouton started 13 games last season at both safety and cornerback, and also played on offense and as a kick returner. He was named to the first-team All-WAC in 2008, and for his career, made 69 tackles and 3 interceptions.
Mouton is expected to challenge for a nickel cornerback role and could be used on returns.
