Launched earlier this year for draft-eligible players coming out of college, Sanders was to expand the program to include current college players. Per PFT's report, the plan had reached the point where thirty receivers and defensive backs were due to arrive in Frisco, Texas next week.
Obviously, a program like this couldjeopardize a player's eligibility, especially when a player agent is potential involved:
"We’ve obtained a copy of an e-mail sent by Weston Hull of Schlegel Woy to the parents of one of the kids invited to the camp, and the e-mail suggests that Schlegel Woy was directly involved in inviting players and coordinating their attendance.
In an e-mail sent to us on Tuesday, Hull denied that his firm had any link to the Prime U camp.
'We don’t have any connection with the summer camp other than we were aware of it like everyone else,' Hull said. 'We did send one 2009 draft prospect to Prime U for combine training last year. I am not sure what the reason is that it is off or even if it is officially off.'"
