Najeh Davenport Chases Down Car Thief

A 22-year old man drove off with free agent running back Najeh Davenport's idling 1970 Chevrolet Impala, but Davenport chased down and detained the car thief.

"Police said Rodney Terrell Green, 22, fled in Davenport's Impala toward Amanda Street, striking four parked vehicles before fleeing on foot toward a Foodland on Brownsville Road."

Davenport purchased the vehicle for $500 as a teenager, but had since added $35,000 in customizing and restoring it.
