It's been reported all over, but Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) will not pursue Congressional hearings on the videotaping procedures by the New England Patriots, or the NFL's investigation into that matter.
"I'm not going to call for hearings, because the mood is not right and we've got too many other bigger problems to deal with," Specter told the Philadelphia Daily News editorial board.
This officially closes the door on the SpyGate matter, as the league has no intention of asking for an independent investigation into the matter.
Specter now plans to look into the matter of publicly-financed public stadiums.
