"Pork Chop" Re-Signs With Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed veteran offensive lineman Floyd "Pork Chop" Womack. Womack, a 7-year veteran out of Mississippi State University, provides depth along the offensive line and could possibly start for the Seahawks at the vacant right guard position.

The contract is for one-year, and no terms have been disclosed.

Stallworth Deal Essentially A One Year Audition

As expected, the contract the New England Patriots offered WR Donte Stallworth is essentially a one-year contract worth $3.6M. He has received a $1M signing bonus, and stands to earn a $1.6M roster bonus and $300K workout bonus in addition to his $700K salary, but Stallworth needs to have a stellar season in New England, on and off the field, to reap the total benefit of this contract.

New England holds $8M in roster/option bonuses in 2008, and as well as a $2M option bonus in 2009 and $500K workout bonuses in the final three years of the contract.
